VISIT OF THE KENYA DELEGATION OF NATIONAL DEFENCE COLLEGE DURING THEIR FOREIGN STUDY TOUR TO PEACEKEEPING TRAINING DEPT

A 14 Member Kenya National Defence Course delegation led by Maj General A K IKen, Deputy Commandant (Military) visited Peacekeeping Training Department at CIPS/ NUST Islamabad on 12 April 2017. The visitors were received by Pro-Rector P & R Major General Muhammad Shahid (Retd) and Principal NIPCONS Major General Mazhar Saleem Khan (Retd). They were taken to Seminar Hall and were given detail briefing on NUST by concerned representative and thereafter Peacekeeping Training Activities by HoD PKT Department. The delegation members were quite inquisitive and asked about the Peacekeeping Training Methodology. They were deeply impressed by the infrastructure and the execution of training. After exchange of souvenirs the delegation was seen off for further visit.

The delegation then visited School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS). The delegate members were briefed and shown different laboratories and certain innovations/ projects done by SEECS students. They were deeply impressed by the various facets and variety of academic and co-curricular activities. They delegation were finally seen off by the protocol staff.
