CIPS hosted Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry for a thought-provoking lecture on “Pakistan–India: Dynamics of Conflict and Peace.” The session was attended by students and faculty of CIPS and JSPPL.
Ambassador Chaudhry traced the historical and contemporary dimensions of Pakistan–India relations and outlined four imperatives for the future: sustained dialogue without compromising on principles, strong defence preparedness, a broadened concept of national security as per the National Security Policy 2022, and effective projection of Pakistan’s narrative globally.
A lively Q&A session followed, with participants engaging on the prospects of dialogue, normalization, and the role of academia in shaping narratives.
