An ‘Expert Colloquium’ titled, “Perspectives on Russia-Ukraine Crisis”
-An ‘Expert Colloquium’ titled, “Perspectives on Russia-Ukraine Crisis” was organized by the Centre for International Peace and Stability (CIPS), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), on 15th February 2022. The principal aim of the session was to explore the vital role of Ukraine in the global security order under the shadow of ‘renewed’ great-power rivalry. Themes under discussion addressed NATO’s strategic reorientation amid trans-Atlantic disunity, particularly in the aftermath of the Afghan withdrawal, and political considerations at play in shaping key stakeholder responses to events in Eastern Europe.
The session was graced with the presence of discussants, Major General Athar Abbas (Retd), Former Ambassador of Pakistan to Ukraine; Mr. Qazi M.
