Kazakhstan armed forces delegation Visit to CIPS NUST – 11th April 2022
Lt Gn Marat Khussainov Pakhiyovich, First Deputy Defense Minister/ Chief of General staff along with a high-powered delegation visited CIPS on 11th April 2022. Principal NIPCONS Major General Muhammad Salim Raza welcomed the delegation. In his welcoming remarks, Principal NIPCONS said that Pakistan and Kazakhstan’s armed forces enjoy very strong bondage and linkage. Thereafter, GSO-1 Corps CIPS briefed the delegate on Peacekeeping training activities conducted at CIPS. The briefing was followed by an interactive question and answer session wherein the distinguished participants discussed different dynamics of peacekeeping training at CIPS. It was also informed to the delegation that officers from Kazakhstan Army regularly attend Peacekeeping training courses offered at CIPS, and both countries enjoy traditional and excellent friendly relations that are developing well in all fields.
At the end of the discussion, the institutional souvenir was exchanged and the CIPS shield was presented to Lt Gn Marat Khussainov Pakhiyovich by Principal NIPCONS. Following a tea break arranged at the CIPS, the delegates were escorted then for a guided tour of NUST University.
