On 3rd August 2022, a ‘General Agreement of Cooperation (GAC) was signed between the Centre for International Peace and Stability (CIPS), National University of Science and Technology (NUST) and the Peace and Conflict Resolution Centre (PCRC) of Fatima Jinnah Women University. Both the Centres agreed on establishing a formal mechanism for enhancing academic and research cooperation and promoting sustainable and meaningful collaboration. The GAC was signed by Professor Tughral Yamin, Associate Dean CIPS and Dr Ch. Shoaib Akhter, Director ORIC (FJWU). Dr Humaira Shafi from CIPS and Dr Saima Ashraf Kayani from FJWU was appointed as focal persons.
