2nd Afghan Professors’ Capacity Building Training Program, 2022

CIPS is delighted to welcome 30 Afghan university professors to attend “The Afghan professors’ capacity-building training program” at NUST. The initiative is part of the overall national foreign policy framework to cultivate and nurture good relations with the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. This is the second capacity-building training program being organised, coordinated, and hosted by the Centre for International Peace and Stability, NUST, the aim of which is to show the visiting Afghan professors how modern universities function and operate, as well as to guide teaching staff on how they should achieve the most prolific results at their respective universities. Furthermore, the training program has been initiated by the Afghan Inter-Ministerial Coordination Cell of the National Assembly and approved and endorsed by the Prime Minister, Pakistan. The program runs from 14 November until 03 December 2022. The main focal person and coordinator are Professor Tughral Yamin and Associate Professor Dr. Aqab Malik.
